SCUNTHORPE are planning a full day of attractions when they launch the 2011season with the Ben Fund Bonanza at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Saturday(2.30pm).The meeting has attracted a host of star names, and the likes of KrzysztofKasprzak and Ryan Fisher enjoyed a practice session at the circuit lastweekend.Promoter Rob Godfrey said: "We've done everything we can so now it's up tothe riders to do their bit on Saturday, and I'm sure they will. It's goingto be a great meeting and not just that, a great day as well."We have attractions planned from 11.30 in the morning right through tohalf-ten at night, so let's hope the weather is kind to us and that we doget a really big crowd to raise loads of money for the Ben Fund, which afterall is the whole point of the exercise."

SWINDON boss Ronnie Russell has commenced his search for a new rider afterPolish youngster Grzegorz Zengota was seriously injured in a practice crash.Zengota has undergone surgery on a broken leg whilst preparing for theseason with his hometown club Zielona Gora, and he now faces months on thesidelines.Russell said: "I was superbly confident this year and I can't let what'shappened, as tragic as it is, be the end of the season before it's evenstarted."I've put my scouting hat on and I've put out a network of calls all overEurope because I can't afford to leave any stone unturned. We had a verydifficult season last year and we've got to hit the road running this time."
