2010 AFR Series first runner up Tin Sritrai will stay with Asia Racing Team for the 2011 season as hemoves up to the Formula Pilota China series.

Sritrai, the first driver confirmed by the team for the Formula Pilota China campaign, has a verystrong relationship with the Macanese outfit, as Asia Racing team is the only team he has raced withfrom his debut on single-seaters in 2010. A 22 years-old from Khon Kaen, son of Burin Sritrai, himselfa former Misubishi Ralliart Thailand driver from 1993 to 1995, Tin comes from a very promising 2010end of season that saw him take one win and four podium finishes on his AFR Series’ debut, clinchingthe first runner up spot in the championship standings.
Speaking ahead of his second season with Asia Racing Team, Sritrai commented, “I am happy to beback with Asia Racing Team. They were the best team in Formula Renault series and theyknow the Tatuus chassis better than anybody else in Asia. After a learning season in singleseaters, my goal for this season is to win races and from the outset. There will be toughcompetition and I don’t underestimate how tough it will be, but I have the commitment,passion and willpower to do well. The first edition of Formula Pilota China begins in Sepang, Malaysia, from 24th to 26th June. TheFormula Pilota China uses a Tatuus carbon fibre chassis fitted with the 1.4 turbocharged Abarthengine tuned by Fiat Powertrain Technologies with 180bhp, and transmission supplied by Sadev,featuring a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
