Asia Racing team confirmed today that the promising Chinese racer Zhi Cong Li will join the squad’s driver line up for the full Formula Pilota China season in 2011.

In just a few short years, Asia Racing Team, founded by a group of Macau entrepreneurs, have made its mark on the region motorsport community, winning the AFR Series, commonly known as Asian Formula Renault championship, in 2010, and taking victories in different Formula Renault championships, in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia and Formula BMW Pacific.

With two drivers confirmed so far, China’s Zhi Cong Li and Thailand’s Tin Sritrai, the Macanese team embarks on its first season in Formula Pilota China with high hopes.
