Steve Courts won round three of the MSA British Sporting Trials Championship, the JB Taylor trial near Taunton.

Courts sealed victory ahead of Ian Wright, who struggled with a late rain shower and a failing differential. Championship leader Ian Bell lost second on a tie-break ahead of former multiple-champion Calvin Kneebone, who won his class from Paul Price.

Meanwhile Mark Dayson won the novice class from John Cole, both driving MJH cars and both in their first season.
