LAKESIDE have been boosted by the news that Polish star Piotr Swiderski has finally received clearance to race in the UK.Swiderski had been caught up in the dispute over silencers but he will come straight back into the Hammers team this week, making his first home appearance of the season on Friday against Belle Vue.Lakeside boss Jon Cook said: "It's very exciting to have Piotr here at last and I am sure that our fans will be looking forward to his no nonsense style of racing."We decided to get him back in as soon as possible and I am extremely grateful to Jonas (Davidsson) for not only his brief appearance last week but also his continued offer to fill in for us whenever he is needed on an emergency basis."

EASTBOURNE have drafted in Lubos Tomicek to complete their line-up for the home clash with Birmingham on Saturday.The Eagles are without a regular No.7 after Dawid Lampart's start permission was withdrawn, and they have permission to use No.8 Taylor Poole when available or a Premier League guest whilst they search for a full-time replacement.Eagles co-promoter Mike Bellerby said: "Birmingham came up to the Elite League in the winter and I'm sure all Eastbourne fans will be delighted as we are to see a new team at Arlington."We need to keep our momentum going. That will set us up for a run of away matches through April, which begins on Monday at Belle Vue."
