Round 1: Silverstone, 9-10 April
Scott Malvern, Jeroen Slaghekke and Geoff Uhrhane won the opening three races of the 2011 Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain at Silverstone.
Slaghekke began race one from pole position but the spoils were claimed by 2010 championship runner-up Malvern, who took victory by the slender margin of 0.077 seconds from Australian racer Uhrhane.
Dutchman Slaghekke took the chequered flag in race two and leads the points standings. Meanwhile race three belonged to Uhrhane, whose lights-to-flag victory came just a day before his 20th birthday.
