 Round 2: Rockingham, 16 April

Michael and Sean McInerney made a triumphant comeback at Rockingham to take victory after starting the 150-minute race from the pitlane.

Their progress through the field was crowned by a titanic battle between Sean McInerney and Keith Robinson, the pair never more than half a second apart for the last 40 minutes.  Early leader Calum Lockie had to give best to the Rapier prototype of Michael Millard when the frontrunners hit traffic but, with the Rapier later blowing its engine, Spaniards Javier Morcillo and Manuel Cintrano took third overall.

In Class 2 Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins had to contend with the raging thirst of their Dodge Viper as well as battling the other competitors on their way to the class win, while Class 3 victors Gareth, Morgan and Philip Jones had an impressive and trouble-free run to the flag in their Porsche 997, even holding the overall lead for a few laps around the mid-race period.
