SBD Motorsport MSA British Sprint Championship

tewart Robb Sr continued where he left off in round one by taking another win in the second meeting of the year at Silverstone.

Robb denied Mark Smith a maiden win by taking three seconds out of his best time after fitting a set of brand new tyres for the run-off. Smith’s co-driver and series sponsor Steve Broughton took a welcome third spot, proving the worth of the heavily modified SBD Reynard.

Colin Calder returned to top-line sprinting after nearly two years’ absence to be rewarded with fourth place. The event ran close to the 6pm Silverstone environmental curfew, so only a single run-off took place.
