Round 3: Mathhews Auto Salvage, 16 AprilRupert North continued his dominance of Angelsey car trials to win the Matthews Auto Salvage trial.

North dropped just three points to win ahead of reigning champion Duncan Stephens. Dave Oliver finished third on his first run in a front-wheel-drive car trials car, while Barrie Parker won the New Car class once again.

Round 4: Dennis Wells, 17 AprilBarrie Parker won the Dennis Wells trial by more than 40 points following a dominant performance in his Toyota MR2.

While Parker surged to victory, Duncan Stephens and John Moffatt battled to be the best of the Novas, with the former edging ahead to finish second overall by 11 points.
