 Round 1: Snetterton, 16-17 April

Louis Wall delivered a statement of intent by winning both of the season-opening races on the new Snetterton 300 circuit.

Ben Davis led race one from pole position until being passed by Paul Platt, who eased clear until his engine failed. Davis re-took the lead but was overtaken by former champion James O'Reilly. However, O’Reilly suffered engine maladies of his own, which allowed Wall through to take the win.

O'Reilly made a flying start to race two, with Wall slotting into second place ahead of reigning champion Jason Dredge. O'Reilly succumbed to a seized engine on lap six, leaving Wall and Dredge to dispute the victory. The pair approached the finish line side-by-side, with Wall triumphing by 0.038s.Results – race one1 Louis Wall (Anderson) 17m30.949s (91.52mph)2 James O'Reilly (PVP) +3.180s3 Toby Davis (Anderson)
