Doodson named FIM British SGP title sponsors

Specialist sport insurance broker Doodson have signed a one-year deal to become title sponsors of the FIM British Speedway Grand Prix. The World Championship event, which takes place in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on June 25, will now be known as the 2011 FIM Doodson British Speedway Grand Prix. The international insurance group is involved in all areas of motorsport, including superbikes, speedway, motocross, Nascar, Autograss and circuit racing. They offer policies for everyone involved in motorsport ranging from governing bodies, promoters, race teams, riders, sponsors and commercial businesses involved in the supply of products to the motorsport sector. BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy is certain Doodson will benefit from backing the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series' flagship event. He said: "It's great to bring a new sponsor to the series.
