Nicholson/McLaren MSA British Hill Climb Championship

Rounds 1 & 2: Prescott, 30 April-1 May

Scott Moran won the opening rounds of the 2011 championship but was pushed all the way by Lee Adams in the 1600cc GWR Raptor.

Adams delivered his best ever performance to take the 1.6-litre class record on both runs, while qualifying fastest for both run-offs and finishing second behind former champion Moran each time.

There was an unexpected appearance of a brand new OMS 25 car for Trevor Willis, with a larger version of the Powertec V8 which he has used for the last three seasons. Despite the car never having turned a wheel before the event, Willis took third in each run-off.
