InterSteps Championship heads for Snetterton

ALEX WALKER HEADS FOR SNETTERTON

The InterSteps Championship heads for Snetterton, Norfolk for atriple-header this weekend, and Fortec Motorsport's 16-year-old Alex Walkeris looking forward to getting the action underway.

Having made an impressive car racing debut with two P2 finishes in theopening two rounds of the season at Silverstone GP back in March, Oldham'sWalker hopes his form will continue as he prepares to take on the newSnetterton 200 circuit this weekend.

Alex Walker:"I'm really looking forward to getting back to racing this weekend. We had agood test at Snetterton back in April and I feel really comfortable with thecar and track now.

"Silverstone was a mega way to start the season, but it also gave me theopportunity to experience a race weekend and I learned a lot which I'll betaking with me to Snetterton. I've used the six-week break to work closelywith the team and I've been training hard to make sure I'm as well preparedfor the weekend as possible.

 "The championship is still in the early stages so the main thing at themoment is that we stay consistent and pick up as many points as we can. I'msure it will be a challenging three races but hopefully we will have astrong weekend and, if everything goes to plan, make the podium."
