Dave Oliver won the Warwickshire trial for the fifth time in six years, having returned to his Hillman Imp for this year’s event.

Duncan Stephens won his class convincingly but could only manage second overall ahead of Barrie Parker, who won his class by nearly 90 points.

John Moffatt had a strong afternoon in his Nova, taking advantage of drier conditions to claw back second in class. However, his car’s previous owner, John Ludford, just beat him overall.
