Facu Regalia ready to begin Italian Formula 3 season

Next weekend sees the start of the Italian Formula 3 at Franciacorta, Facu´s first season racing in Formula 3 and driving for Team Ghinzani.

Argentinean-born Regalia counts the hours until his official debut in Italian Formula 3, one of the championships in Europe with a high level of competitiveness, and where Regalia is going to drive a Team Ghinzani´s Dallara-FPT. After work in recent months to get used to driving in a Formula 3 car, now it is the moment to implement it in official racing.

“I concluded my pre-season trainings really happy, both for the work done by the team as for mine. I gained confidence driving my Dallara-FPT, because I learnt new things at technical level. My results were good, always among the fastest drivers. Of course they were private trainings, and we don´t know what and how other teams were testing, but I got a good feeling”, explained 19 years-old driver.Autodromo di Franciacorta, a 2.519 meters long track in Castrezzato, is where Italian Formula 3 begins on 14-15 May. Franciacorta is a track where most of the teams accumulate an important feedback, because official trainings were held here in the last days of April. For this meeting, “we have to be focused and to continue in the same line. I look forward, I received tips from my team-manager, engineer and mechanics and which I am taking in account”, added Regalia.

Schedule includes two free practice sessions, both 30 minutes long, before qualifying session which lasts 30 minutes too. Both races are scheduled on Sunday, at 10,00 and 14,00.

Regalia, finally, reiterated his appreciation “for support coming from my parents, family, friends and sponsors, because I can keep progressing in motorsport. Without their support, it wouldn´t be possible”.
