Motorpoint Yamaha kick starts Kellys modelling career

Burton-based apprentice accountant, Kelly Bridges has won the opportunity to be a Motorpoint Yamaha grid girl after being inspired by a chance free photoshoot with one of her friends.

Kelly, 19, did the photoshoot a year ago on the spur of the moment when her friends encouraged her to apply. After she saw the results of the shoot Kelly was hooked and has aspired to be a full-time model ever since.

Her mum’s boyfriend saw the advert to be a Motorpoint-Yamaha grid girl and she applied straight away beating hundreds of applicants to the post. Motorpoint have been running the competition to be a grid girl for this season’s British Superbikes on their Facebook page: facebook.com/motorpoint. Kelly is the latest of the lucky girls to have been given the chance by Motorpoint to be a grid girl for the day.

Says Kelly: “I’m so excited to do this. My boyfriend and my mum’s boyfriend are bike-mad. I had never thought I would get the chance to be a grid girl, but this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity. From the moment I was told I was going to be a grid girl I have I’ve been doing sit-ups and dieting every day to make sure I’ve got a perfect flat stomach for the race day.”
