Round 3: Forrest Lodge, 9-10 June

Richard Kershaw took a convincing victory at Forrest Lodge to make it three wins out of three so far this season.

Kershaw was quickest on the opening run, setting a time 36 seconds quicker than Ian Rochelle, whose hopes of a fight-back were dashed when his Millington Phoenix suffered an oil fire that forced him into retirement.

Kershaw thereafter remained at the top of the leaderboard to make in a hat-trick of wins. “The course was very challenging; if you try and go flat out at this venue it bites back so a delicate touch is required to keep the car out of trouble,” he said.
