After a great weekend in Darwin at Round 4 of the Auto One V8 Ute Racing Series – protected by Armor All, the Big Gun Racing team are heading to the Lighthouse Hotel in Burnett Heads, QLD Saturday, 30th June.

The team will take part in the Burnett Show, which will be promoted by the Lighthouse Hotel and features; a “Get your Ute Out” Ute Muster, V8 Racing Ute Displays, Truck Displays, Driver Signing Sessions and many more exciting activities.

Big Gun Racing Team driver Ryal Harris will be part of the driver signing sessions, and is now only 8 points behind Series leader Nathan Pretty following his round win last weekend in Darwin. This will be Harris’s second time at the event and he’s looking forward to a great weekend.

“I went up last year and it was an awesome event. I’ve carried signage from the Lighthouse Hotel on the ute all year, so it will be great to give them some support back,” said Harris.

Harris will also use the weekend to celebrate with his teammate and Lighthouse Hotel owner Peter Burnitt, who is excited to bring the event back to the small town (16km south of Bundaberg).

“It’s a great event for the town. It brings in a lot of people and we are hoping for an even bigger turn-out this year. We have support from local community, radio and TV and we hope we can put on a great show for everyone,” said Burnitt.

Former State of Origin greats Kerrod Walters & Billy Moore will also be in attendance to show their support for the event.
