La Rocca Sweeps F2000 Championship Series Weekend
Competing at the ultra-fast New Jersey Motorsports Park this past weekend, Robert La Rocca and his Auto-Errante - HP Tech Motorsport squad dominated each and every on track session in the F2000 Championship Series. Leaving the fourth round of the 2012 schedule, the Venezuelan pilot holds a commanding points lead in the overall championship chase with only three double header weekends remaining."This was another awesome weekend for me and my team," expressed an elated Robert La Rocca upon event completion. "It is our third weekend sweep this season and was great for points. In motorsports, when people are out to get you, you know you are doing something right."During his off weekends, La Rocca has seen himself behind the wheels of racecars all around the world. The jet-setting driver recently made his Euro F3 Open debut with Team West-Tec with impressive results. In a field of 25 drivers, La Rocca qualified his F3 ride in the 13th position but was determined to improve in wheel-to-wheel competition. Challenging himself to move forward through the stacked grid of competitors, La Rocca impressed all by garnering an solid sixth place finish when the event concluded."My experience in Europe is definitely helping me in North America," added La Rocca. "Couple the skills I am learning overseas with the support of the Auto Auto-Errante - HP Tech Motorsports team in the F2000 Championship Series, we have put together a winning combination."Enjoying very little time off, Robert La Rocca will return to Europe for his second event weekend in the Euro F3 Open. Once again joining forces with Team West-Tec, La Rocca will compete at the fame Brands Hatch and will look to improve on his impressive start to his F3 season.
