Giovanni Venturini joins Trident for GP3

Trident Racing has announced an agreement reached with Giovanni Venturini, one of the best young racers in Italy. Venturini will enter all the remaining rounds of the 2012 GP3 Series starting from next weekend's round at Silverstone.

Giovanni, a 20-year-old coming from Vicenza with a consistent racing resume in the top open-wheel championships, will be lining-up on an unknown racecar for him, although the team will do their best to put him at ease and reduce the time needed to fill the gap in preparation.

Trident Tacing is proud to be giving a chance to another talented young racer coming from Italy after having lined-up so far the promising Vicky Piria and Antonio Spavone, who are currently climbing their learning curve and scored some important results.

The GP3 Series will be on-track on Friday, with the first session of practice scheduled at 9:30. On Saturday, qualifying at 9:45  will be followed by Race 1 at 17:30. Race 2 will go underway Sunday at 9:15 (all times local - UTC+01).
