Maxxis British Motocross Championship, Hawkstone Park

The Maxxis British Motocross Championship is in full swing now and round six of the series will take place at the fantastic Hawkstone Park Circuit in Shropshire on the 29th July 2012. The Salop Motor Club are once again in full preparation for the race and they are eager to put on a stunning event at one of the most popular tracks on the Championship calendar.

The last round was over in Ireland at Desert-Martin, which as always produced some fantastic racing with Kevin Strijbos taking the overall MX1 win and Mel Pocock taking the overall MX2 win. The racing is set to be action packed at Hawkstone Park with three MX1 and MX2 races plus races for the British Veterans Championship and the youths in the MXY85 class.

The one doubt for the race at the minute could be that of current second placed man in the MX1 Championship Matiss Karro, Karro suffered a huge qualifying crash at the Motocross GP in Sweden where he suffered a back injury and also concussion. The Salop Motor Club wish Matiss a quick and speedy recovery and hope to see him back racing soon.
