After his pole position during the qualifying session, Regalia was overtaken by Gianmarco Raimondo at the beginning of the race, but the Argentinian kept pushing to finish second at the wheel of his Campos Racings Dallara F312.
Regalia flew in the morning and set his first pole position ever in the series, so his goal was very ambitious for the second race. At the start, he was overtaken by Gianmarco Raimondo, but Regalia kept close to him all the way to the finish.
My start wasnt that good, because my rear wheels skidded and then Raimondo passed me. I was during race very close to him, going as fast as possible and pushing pressure on him to force him making a mistake. But it didnt work. His race was faultless and his car very quick as well. I knew that the race was to be decided, almost a 100%, at the start but... this is racing. This result is very good for us at Campos Racing after our recent problems, and without doubt this podium is a morale booster for us and our challenges ahead, Regalia said after the race.
