Hockenheim challenge for Tutumlu

Tutumlu is making his debut at Hockenheim next weekend where he will drive the FRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

There will be another strong entry list, because almost thirty carsseveral coming from German Porsche Supercup- will be on the starting grid and former Formula 1 drivers such as Nick Heidfeld.

It will be another difficult weekend for us, thats for sure, because Ive never competed there. Meanwhile my rivals, almost everyone, know this track and someone even raced here earlier in the season. The entry list is impressive, because there are drivers like Heidfeld, who achieved a great record during his Formula 1 period. The times are so close at Hockenheim, with a lot of cars within a second, that it will be another point to consider, he explained. The young GT driver added that yesterday we made a test at Lausitzring, and it was a worth day because we gained more experience with this car, which is very demanding for us as drivers. My goals in Germany are learning the track as soon as possible, focusing on a good set-up, during Fridays free practice session and then trying our best on Saturdays qualifying session. The race will be very difficult of course, as always, but I will fight for a good result. On the other hand, the organization confirmed that during the Hungarian meeting at the end of July will be celebrated two races, after cancellation of race in Barcelona. I am delighted with this decision because I know Hungaroring and like it. I think its a good thing for us. Lets see, Tutumlu said finally.

The timetable for Hockenheim is pretty similar to previous meetings with a free practice session on Friday at 16.45 (CET), and then on Saturday the qualifying at 12.25. The race is scheduled on Sunday, starting at 11.45, and with Eurosport broadcasting it live.
