Andrea Larini is ready to be back battling for the front end of the charts in the closing three rounds of the 2012 SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES. The Italian racer, based in Camaiore, Tuscany, has taken three podium finishes so far including a really popular win at Mugello, when he held on to his position despite a damaged car.
The Larini family has deep roots in motorsrports as confirmed by Andrea's father "Dedo", an Italian Touring Car ace of th 70's, and brother Nicola, formerly racing in Formula One with several teams including Ferrari. And Andrea has proved equally fast since the start, when he won the Italian Saxo Cup title and the "Rally del Carnevale di Viareggio".
He finally moved to SUPERSTARS this season, with Mario Ferraris and his team providing him with an 100% perfect Mercedes C63 AMG. During the first race of the season at Monza, Larini cruised to a spectacular second-place finish before repeating the same result at Imola. In Mugello then, he scored a well-deserved home win...

I would have never imagined to be so fast right from the beginning at Monza and I immediately understood that I had made the right choice. It's been great to race in front of such a big and passionate crowd, and it also happened in the following rounds thanks to the sensational work done by FG GROUP,a world benchmark company in terms of promotion and communication in modern motrosports. After the first race, we went off to an up and down season, with some mechanical issues and incidents that made me lose several points. Then we got a major rebound with the win we scored at Mugello and we're still in the hunt for the SUPERSTARS Italian Championship title..."
