Winners of an online competition run by prestigious tyre firm Pirelli have been rewarded with five signed Pirelli podium caps and one lucky winner has won a pair of tickets to next years British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The online competition was running from Thursday 5 July to Sunday 15 July and required partcipants to log in to the official Pirelli Facebook page and enter their details in order to be in with a chance of winning five podium caps signed by McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.The top prize was a pair of tickets to next years British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Lesley Worrell from Hampshire was announced as the lucky winner of the 10-day competition and was delighted with the prize.I still cant believe it, said prize winner, Worrell. We were at the Grand Prix and we went along to the Pirelli stand and thats where we entered the competition. We didnt expect to win, I didnt think anybody ever won these sort of competitions so I really couldnt believe it when I got the phone call saying that Id been successful. Its the first competition that Ive ever won and my partner is a petrolhead so hes over the moon too.
