Revitalised Glynn Geddie primed for Porsche Carrera Cup showdown

Motorsport news, Glynn Geddie is treating this weekends return to the Porsche Carrera Cup as a fresh start.

The Apex Tubulars backed ace rejoins Carrera Cup action at Snetterton, following a seven week break, refreshed and determined to impress.

After looking to start the season strongly following his 2011 British GT triumph, Geddie has endured a mixed campaign to date and currently lies ninth in the championship standings.

A series of mechanical errors has cost Geddie dear, with only one podium finish all season coming in round six at Thruxton.

However the 22-year-old was left buoyed by fourth and sixth placed finishes last time out at Croft and is confident he can silence his doubters.

I could blame any number of things for my poor results up until now, but theres no point ruing missed opportunities in the past, said Geddie.

I still have enough time to make my mark on the campaign and Im planning to take each race as they come.

Snetterton was lengthened last year so will certainly provide us with a stern test after being away from the track for a few weeks.

With 10 stages remaining there are still lots of points up for grabs and although I am a long way off the pace in the standings Im not giving up hope just yet.
