SUPER fast 1600cc Formula Ford cars will be tearing around Mallory Park this Sunday 12th August with the racers going for the prestigious one-day Champion of Mallory title.

Formula Ford cars are open wheeled, lightweight, powerful and quick - like mini Formula 1 cars. Deceptively fast and driven by some of the best club racers in the country hungry for success, excitement is guaranteed.

The BARC organised national meeting also features a fantastic support card of races with a wide range of machines taking to track, from 125cc karts through MR2s, the Nippon Challenge and Sports Saloons.

Qualifying starts at 0930 with the first of nine races kicking off at approximately 1145 and running through until late afternoon.

Mallory Park General Manager John Ward said: "What an incredible race card we have at Mallory Park on Sunday. The Formula Fords will be spectacular but I am also looking forward to seeing the support races. The Karts may only be 125cc but with almost unbelievable levels of grip, they will be fast and exciting to watch. It's going to be a good day of racing."

Tickets cost just 13 on the gate with accompanied under 14s going free of charge.
