Ten Austrians line up for home race Live TV coverage on Saturday and Sunday starting at 12.15pm on kabel eins

The ADAC GT Masters starts the second half of the season at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg with no fewer than ten Austrian drivers in the line-up. Having the most successful season so far are Dominik Baumann from Rum in Tirol and Hari Proczyk from the village of Sankt Margarethen, just a few kilometres from the Red Bull Ring, both currently on a score of 34 championship points. Also hoping for a respectable result in front of their home supporters are Martin Ragginger, Philipp Eng, Daniel Dobitsch and Mario Dablander, as well as the Stuck brothers, Ferdinand and Johannes. Gottfried Grasser from Knittelfeld has brought in a high-profile co-driver for the weekend; he will be sharing the cockpit of his Lamborghini Gallardo with ex Formula 1 test driver Andrea Piccini, one of the winning trio from the recent Total 24 Hours of Spa. Marvin Kirchhfer leads drivers' championship at halfway stage Home race for Thomas Jger at Red Bull Ring

The second half of the 2012 season for the young drivers of the ADAC 'Formula Academy' starts with a foreign excursion, this time to the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Local favourite Thomas Jger will be particularly motivated for the fifth race weekend of the season. The Austrian already has one victory to his credit this year and is currently seventh in the drivers' standings, so he will be aiming to celebrate his 18th birthday in style with a win in front of his family and friends. At the midway point in the season, ADAC Sports Foundation protg Marvin Kirchhfer leads the overall standings on 20 points ahead of Gustav Malja; the Swedish driver's team Neuhauser Racing will also be hoping for a good result on their home circuit. Two Austrians in championship Top Four Saturday 11th August, from 10.35am live on SPORT1

The ATS Formel-3-Cup has been dominated this season by the two veterans Jimmy Eriksson and Kimiya Sato, both of whom drive for Lotus. They have many years' experience between them of contesting Formula 3 and currently occupy the two top spots in the standings. Their closest challengers are two Austrians who will be relishing the prospect of competing in their home race at the Red Bull Ring: Lucas Auer, the nephew of former Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger, and Rene Binder. Touring cars in exciting racing at the Red Bull Ring Rookie Paul Green chasing leader Jens Weimann

The championship battle in the ADAC PROCAR series will be hotting up at the Red Bull Ring. Division 1 has been dominated by Jens Weimann, so far unbeaten in his BMW. Meanwhile, in the last race, Lennart Marioneck succeeded in breaking veteran Guido Thierfelder's stranglehold on Division 2. Local fans will be backing David Griessner from Austria who drives a Ford Fiesta ST for Glatzel Racing in Division 2. MINI TROPHY

Home race for second in table Jrgen Schmarl Cora Schumacher to compete at Red Bull Ring

The MINI TROPHY, also part of the ADAC Masters Weekend programme, stages races seven and eight of the season. Currently second in the table, Jrgen Schmarl of Innsbruck will be especially fired up for his home race at the Red Bull Ring. The Team Fast Forward driver is only three points behind 'half-time champion' Ralf Martin and will be keen to edge ahead of his rival in front of the local fans. It is a similar situation for third-placed Thomas Tekaat and fourth-placed Stephanie Halm who are separated by only a single point. Cora Schumacher, wife of Mercedes-Benz DTM driver Ralf Schumacher, will also be back in action this weekend at Spielberg, driving her MINI John Cooper Works Challenge
