 Round 4: Lydden Hill, 26-27 August

Liam Doran was victorious at Lydden Hill, leading home his father Pat and championship leader Julian Godfrey.

Liamreturning to the British Championship following a season in Europe and the USwas fastest in all three qualifying heats to take pole for the A Final, which he won despite suffering a last-lap puncture.

Pat had a troubled run in the heats but enjoyed a smoother final, moving up from fourth at the start to shadow Liam across the finish line. Meanwhile Godfrey had a relatively lonely run to third place, unable to match the lead pace.
