26 Cars for 100th GT Open Race at the Hungaroring

Swiss Teams Maserati Granturismo, Schubert Motorsports BMW Z4 and GDLs Racing Mercedes SLS join the party

The 6th round of the International GT Open will take team and drivers to a new circuit, the Hungaroring, The F.1 track located near Budapest, one of the jewels of Central Europe, will host the series for the first time, together with the European F3 Open and the FIA Formula 2 and will have the privilege to host GT Opens 100th race, which will be Sundays Race 2.

Today GT Sport published the official entry list for the Hungarian round, which includes 26 cars.

As anticipated, there will be some very interesting novelties. The brand new Maserati Granturismo MC3  developed by Swiss Team is now ready for its official debut at international level, with two great drivers at its wheel: Alessandro Pier Guidi and Gabriele Gardel.

Stalwart GT team Schubert Motorsport, from Germany, will make its first appearance in the GT Open with possibly two BMW Z4. Confirmed as drivers of one of the cars is Swedish pair Lars Stugemo-Daniel Roos. This will also be the first appearance of a BMW Z4 in the GT Open.

Italys GDL Racing is back, with its new car, a Mercedes SLS AMG, entrusted to team owner Gianluca De Lorenzi and Dario Paletto, while Kessel Racing brings an additional Ferrari 458 GT3 for Stefano Gattuso-Marco Zanuttini.

With all the regular participants present and the fight for all titles wide open, the Hungaroring round promises to be simply exciting
