Facu Regalia will take part in a new meeting of the European F3 Open next weekend, after the summer break in August.
Regalia is back driving his Dallara F312 lined up by Campos Racingthe team led by former Formula 1 driver Adrin Campos- in the European F3 Open.
Regalia, who is lying 5th in the championship after his podiums achieved at Nrburgring, Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard, is aiming for top places at Hungaroring, the antepenultimate meeting in the series.
In Hungary we are starting the end of the season in the F3 Open, because there are three rounds left, Regalia explained, adding that this layout is a favourite one for me, because I like it. Its worth mentioning that during the Auto GP event held there in May I finished on podium. That result is a boost for me. Front places shouldnt be out of reach for us. In addition, we have a test day on Thursday, so my engineer Juan and I will start to work on the car quite early. A good set-up is almost mandatory, because both qualifying sessions will have a key factor, taking into account how difficult to overtake other cars is at Hungaroring. I hope to avoid any kind of problems and give our best.
As Regalia explained, there is a test day scheduled on Thursday, consisting of two private sessions at 10.10 and 13.30. Free practice sessions will be on Friday, with Q1 and race 1 on Saturday at 10.35 and 16.45 respectively. Finally, on Sunday, Q2 and race 2 are scheduled at 9.00 and 12.00. Both races consisting of 17 laps and they will be broadcasted live on www.f3open.tv.Follow everything concerning Facus career in motorsport, please check his profiles on Facebook and Twitter: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Facu-Regalia-2010/286971396026 and @facuregalia.
