Round 4: Santa Pod Raceway, 6-9 September

Michael Gullqvist, Europes most prolific Pro Modified winner, made heavy weather of victory at Santa Pod.

Accustomed to leading from the front, the Swede struggled to qualify 13th. He then narrowly beat MSA championship leader Roger Moore in the semi-final, before edging past rising Dutch star David Vegter to win the final.

Another Swede, Bert-Ove Olofsson, was the events performance leader, clocking six-zeroes on every pass but succumbing to breakage after the opening round.
