Round 9: Lakeland Stages, 8 September

Jonny Greer took victory on the Lakeland Stages after a tight battle with Gary Jennings, who failed to finish after leaving the road on the final stage.

Derek McGarrity led the way early on and shared the lead with Greer after the first loop of stages but the rally soon boiled down to a battle between Greer and Jennings.

Jennings held a two-second advantage after the penultimate stage, leaving everything to play for on the final test. However, with Jennings retiring Greer sealed an easy win ahead of Mark Donnelly and Martin Cairns.
