First title match point for Christian Engelhart VIP guest: Arthur Abraham wishes local driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen good luck

Final push in the ADAC GT Masters: the four-way battle for the championship is hotting up in the Eifel. Mercedes-Benz, Corvette and BMW ALPINA chase title favourites Porsche. Championship leader Christian Engelhart has secured the first match point at the Nrburgring on his way to the title in his Porsche 911. He leads the overall standings with a 25-point lead on his closest rivals Sebastian Asch and Maximilian Gtz in the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Engelhart's team-mate Nick Tandy has a chance of winning the title on paper, but in reality his chances are slim. Since the British driver had to miss both Nrburgring races during the ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix weekend, the reigning Carrera Cup champion is ranked third in the championship table and is giving his Porsche colleague his full backing. For former Formula 1 driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen, this is his second home race of the season. The Corvette driver lives in Neuss and has a top Nrburgring specialist at his side: with four wins, team-mate Andreas Wirth is the most successful ADAC GT Masters driver in the Eifel. Frentzen is visited by former IBF world middleweight boxing champion and reigning WBO world super-middleweight champion Arthur Abraham. Formel ADAC

Title fight enters decisive phase Local youngster Jason Kremer aiming for top results

The Formel ADAC is heading for the final straight. The three races at the Nrburgring could decide who wins the championship. Swedish teenager Gustav Malja leads the standings ahead of the penultimate race weekend for the ADAC Formula academy. He has a 25-point lead on Marvin Kirchhfer. Malja has already won a race in the Eifel this year and intends continuing his winning streak. ADAC Sports Foundation protg Kirchhfer is still waiting for his first Eifel victory but has shown that he feels comfortable at the Nrburgring: the Lotus driver finished on the podium in all three races during the ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix weekend. Jason Kremer, who hails from nearby Bonn, is looking forward to his second home race this season. Placed third in the overall standings, he achieved his first two pole positions in the Formel ADAC and then secured his first win of the season in July at the Nrburgring. ATS Formel-3-Cup

Jimmy Eriksson dominates championship Rookie Lucas Auer is closest rival in title fight

Races 22 to 24 in the ATS Formel-3-Cup are on the programme this weekend at the Nrburgring. Veteran Jimmy Eriksson heads the overall standings with a comfortable lead of 86 points on rookie Lucas Auer. The nephew of ten-time grand prix winner Gerhard Berger secured his first victory in a major race during the previous race weekend at the Lausitzring and edged out Japanese driver Kimiya Sato in the standings, moving into second place. Auer has a chance on paper of winning the championship in his debut season in the ATS Formel-3-Cup and good prospects of achieving success in the rookie stakes. The Austrian driver leads the table for newcomers to the series ahead of Australian Mitchel Gilbert. ADAC PROCAR

New and former champions team up in Division 1 Guido Thierfelder can win the title in Division 2 at his home race

The two penultimate ADAC PROCAR races of the season are in prospect at the Nrburgring. The champion in Division 1 has already been decided. After his double victory at the Lausitzring, Jens Weimann becomes champion in the Super 2000 race car class before season end. He has got big-name competitors to join his team for the races in the Eifel: last year's winner Johannes Leidinger takes the wheel in the second Thate BMW. Further excitement is building in the Division 2 title fight. Championship leader Guido Thierfelder can wrap up the championship at his home race in the Eifel. Jens Mierschke is in second place behind Thierfelder but is only six points clear of Lausitzring double winner Lennart Marioneck. MINI TROPHY

Exciting three-way battle for the championship MINI Corso parade of Minis gives fans the chance to have a go at driving

The penultimate race weekend of the MINI TROPHY 2012 season could see the championship decided before the end of the season. Jrgen Schmarl is the overall leader as the eleventh and twelfth race in the 'lifestyle' competition in the Eifel gets underway. Thomas Tekaat in hot pursuit might be able to close the gap to just seven points and Ralf Martin, who is just 27 points adrift from P1, is still within striking distance. Cora Schumacher, wife of ex-Formula 1 and current DTM driver Ralf Schumacher is also racing again at the Nrburgring and aiming to achieve decent results in her 211bhp MINI John Cooper Works. The ADAC Masters Weekend has a special highlight in store for fans: if you arrive at the track in a MINI, then you have the chance to drive in Sunday's MINI Corso parade around the race track.
