Star Mazda Racer Bruno Palli Moves Up to Indy Lights at Fontana Finale

Juncos Racing is excited to announce Bruno Palli a rising star in the Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear -- will make his debut in the Firestone Indy Lights Series this weekend in the season finale at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

Palli, 21, will take his racing career to the next level in the Mazda Road to Indy Program and make his first Firestone Indy Lights Series run in the #86 Juncos Racing car. IZOD INDYCAR driver, E.J. Viso, has sponsored, coached, and mentored Palli since he began his racing career in karts. Palli, who drives the #15 Juncos Racing/Team Viso Venezuela car, currently sits 12th in his rookie season of the 2012 Star Mazda Championship point standings.

"I am really excited to race my first Indy Lights race this weekend at Fontana!" said Palli. "My team and E.J. Viso have been working a lot with me to prepare me for the next step in my racing career. I want to thank my team and E.J. for supporting me and giving me this chance to run in the Indy Lights Series this weekend."

Ricardo Juncos, Team Owner, is thrilled to be back on track in the Firestone Indy Lights series after a mid-season absence and to advance another Juncos Racing driver up to the next level in the Mazda Road to Indy program.

"Driver development continues to be our main mission at Juncos Racing," said Juncos. "I could not be any happier to be back running in the Firestone Indy Lights series, especially with our current Juncos driver Bruno. He has shown a lot of progress in only his first season in the Star Mazda Championship and to take him to the next level goes to show what we continue to do at Juncos Racing. We have had the pleasure to be a part of many young drivers racing careers and to help advance their racing skills to move onto other series. I want to thank Bruno for all of his hard work this season and E.J. Viso for his support."
