Motors TV Weekly Highlights 22nd to 28th September

LIVE FIM Motocross World Championship

The 16th and final round of the 2012 FIM Motocross World Championship takes place at Teutschenthal in Germany and although both the MX1 and MX2 titles were decided last time out, all the riders will be aiming to end the year on a high. Motors TV brings you live coverage of all four motos across the two categories.

NASCAR Nationwide Series

The NASCAR Nationwide Series season continues to near its conclusion, with the 27th race of the year taking place at Kentucky. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been closing on Elliot Sadler in the race for the title that the former won last year, with the latter losing ground when the pair clashed at Richmond. Rookie Austin Dillon won Junes race at the 1.5-mile oval in Sparta.

Blancpain Endurance Series

Nearly two months on from the 24 Hours of Spa, the Blancpain Endurance Series resumes with round five of six at the Nurburgring. Marc VDS Racing trio Maxime Martin, Bas Leinders and Markus Palttala lead the Pro Cup in their striking BMW Z4, but will need to see off the challenge of rival Belgian squad WRT and their Audi R8 driven by Germans Christopher Mies and Christopher Haase together with Stphane Ortelli.

V8 Supercars

V8 Supercars enters its endurance season with the Sandown 500 returning as the precursor to the world-famous Bathurst 1000 and the opportunity for the new driver pairings to gel. While most of this years co-drivers come from Down Under, two names to look out for are former F1 racer Christian Klien partnering Russell Ingall and GT ace Allan Simonsen (whos been doing the enduros since 2003) with Steven Johnson.

LIVE Night of the Jumps

Motors TV has live coverage of the latest instalment of freestyle motocross action from Barcelona. Remi Bizouard will continue his search for a third world title, while Jose Miralles will look to wow the crowds with his two-wheeled acrobatics at La Monumental bullring in his home city.

Omnitel 1000km Lithuania

It may not have the latest prototype efforts from the worlds leading car manufacturers, but the 1000km of Lithuania does feature everything from an Aquila CR1 coup to a Skoda Fabia tearing up and down a circuit formed of closed public roads in the coastal resort of Palangas, and attracts competitors from across the Baltics and beyond.
