Round 9: McKelvey Bushwhacker Rally, 22 September

Derek McGarrity and co-driver James McKee claimed the championship crown with victory on the season-closing Bushwhacker Rally.

Martin Cairns held the early advantage with a three-second lead over McGarrity following the first loop of stages. Cairns maintained the gap until the final stage, leaving everything to play for.

McGarrity powered through the test 11 seconds faster than anyone else to arrive back in Omagh with a 13-second victory, and with it the championship title.
