Round 5: Santa Pod Raceway, 22-23 September

Rain prevailed at Santa Pod but not before Roger Moore secured his maiden MSA British Drag Racing Championship title.

Moore only needed to complete a qualifying pass to make his points lead unassailablea task he completed comfortably on Saturday.

Kevin Slyfield pipped Moore to the low-qualifier spot by just 0.019 seconds. Third qualifier Andy Wright set the top speed at 214.00mph, while Pro Mod newcomer Rick Garrett qualified for eliminations at his first attempt.
