Eric Nve leaves Chevrolet

He led the successful WTCC campaign since 2004 up to World Champion titles

 Eric Nve, Chevrolet Motorsport Manager, will leave Chevrolet Europe at the end of this week. Eric has been in charge of the brands WTCC programme since its started from a white sheet of paper in 2004 and has managed the team up to two consecutive double Constructors and Drivers WTCC World Championship titles in 2010-11. Chevrolet is currently leading in both 2012 Championships with only three events to go: a third Constructors title is only 10 points away, while the three Chevrolet drivers are the only contenders left for the Drivers crown.

With the Chevrolet leaving the WTCC at the end of the 2012 season, following a strategic review of Chevrolets motorsport and marketing programs, Eric elected to stay in motorsports, his field of competence and his passion since the start of his career. As from 1st October 2012, he will join HWA AG as member of the Board of Directors, responsible for marketing and business development.

Michell Seaman will take up his duties at Chevrolet until the end of the 2012 season, reporting to Vijay Iyer, Director Communications.
