Suzuki wins Danish MX Championship

Team Suzuki rider Rasmus Jrgensen clinched the Danish MX2 Motocross Championship aboard his Kaduuz Racing RM-Z250 at Sunday's final round at Solbjerg on the island of Mors.

Jrgensen won the title by finishing second in the opening race and then signed out of the 2012 series with another second place in the final race after a tough hard-fought-for comeback from a serious car accident more than 12 months ago and also suffering a family bereavement earlier this year.

Dedicating the win to his Father, who died in January, he said: "I'm really happy to have won the championship for Suzuki especially because of the serious injury I suffered in a car accident. Even now my arm is still not 100% so it's been great to win."Three times Champion Nicolai Hansen finished the MX1 season in runner-up position aboard his RM-Z450 while MK Motorsport Suzuki's Catja Rasmussen collected her third consecutive Women's title. In the two-stroke class, 13-time winner Soeren M Ebbesen dominated the season aboard his RM250.
