The seventh round of the International GT Open is to be held in Italy over the weekend of September 30. For the Venetian squad the home-track is a further reason to be among the major contenders with Andrea Montermini and Juan Manuel Lopez behind the wheel of Ferrari 458. The races will be broadcasted live by RaiSport 2 and Primocanale in Italy on both Saturday and Sunday
The aabar Abu Dhabi Villorba racing with Ferrari Team will get back on track at the International GT Open in one of the temples of motorsport: Monza. The legendary circuit and the only Italian event of the series represent the home-race for the Venetian squad led by Raimondo Amadio and therefore it is crucial to be among the top contenders with race drivers Andrea Montermini and Juan Manuel Lopez. Behind the wheel of the powerful Ferrari 458 of the Super GT class the former F.1 driver from Modena, record man for wins in the GT Open, and his Argentine team-mate are ready to race in front of thousands of passionate and enthusiastic motorsport fans who will come to the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza. The Italian scuderia will do its best to repeat the great performances shown at the Hungaroring three weekends ago.
The seventh round of the competitive GT series is scheduled from September 28 to 30. The aabar Abu Dhabi Villorba team will start the weekend on Friday with two free practice sessions which, on a fast and unique track like Monza, will be particularly crucial to study the ideal setup for Qualifying which scheduled for Saturday, Sep 29 at 9:15 and 12:15. Start of race-1 is scheduled for 15:30. On Sunday, September 30 race-2 will start at 13:30. Both races will be broadcasted live or deferred by many TV stations throughout Europe, including RaiSport 2 and Primocanale in Italy.
Monza will be crucial to be well prepared for a thrilling end of the season - says Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal -.
