Round 8: Colin McRae Forest Stage, 6 October

Quintin Milne powered to his maiden championship victory on the season-closing Colin McRae Stages.

Milne and navigator Martin Forrest survived brake-related problems to finish 40 seconds clear of Barry Groundwater, who brought his 2012 campaign to a close with his best result of the season alongside co-driver Neil Shanks.

The final podium spot went to 2012 champion David Bogie, who produced a remarkable performance on his first competitive outing behind the wheel of a Ford Escort Mk2.
