GT Cup end of season high for Jordan Racing Ltd
Following Jordan Racings recent takeover of Chevron Racing Cars Ltd, Jordan Witt delivered the perfect end to the 2012 season for the newly rebranded team.
Claiming pole position in qualifying and piloting the GR8 GT3 to three well-fought victories, Jordan Witt made it a clean sweep for the racing outfit at Donington during the GT Cup Championship season finale (06-07 October).
Prepared and run out of the teams new facility in Cheshire, the GR8 GT3s performance, in the hands of Jordan Witt, also meant Jordan Racing set the fastest lap in each of the three races.
British GT and GT Cup Championship driver, Jordan Witt, commented: We couldnt have asked for a better weekend, its a fantastic way to finish the season. The GR8 GT3 was consistently quick, and all the development work on the car this year has certainly paid off. I must say a big thank you to the team, and look forward to helping develop and test the GT3 further over the coming months.
Owner of Jordan Racing Ltd, David Witt, said: What a phenomenal weekend for Jordan Racing, absolutely brilliant. We were up against quality competition, and congratulations to Derek Johnston for winning the GT Cup Championship title this year.
Our team has been working extremely hard to ensure the transition over to Jordan Racing has been seamless over the last few weeks. We are currently making plans for next year, and are confident that 2013 will bring with it some exciting new opportunities.
