Fans of the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Series have the chance to vote for their favourite driver of 2012 in the Mobil Service Centre Master of the Year Award, launched today.

Five drivers from British F3, as well as five from the Avon Tyres British GT Championship, are shortlisted following their nomination during the course of the season as Mobil Service Centre Master of the Weekend.

Now it is up to the public to vote via Facebook for their favourite - the winner (or the winners team) receives 5000-worth of racing fuel for their 2013 British F3 or GT campaign. The five British F3 drivers in the running are Hannes van Asseldonk, Jazeman Jaafar, Pipo Derani, Felix Serralles and Spike Goddard.

We're now at the point where we ask the public, fans and supporters (and other drivers) to vote for their Mobil Service Centre Master of the Year award, said competition spokesperson Lisa Crampton.

The driver with the most likes in our Masters Album will win 5000-worth of fuel towards their 2013 F3 or GT campaign courtesy the partnership between Mobil Service Centre, WP Motorsport and British F3/GT. If the driver does not run in the championship next year, his team will receive the prize.
