Round 7: Cambrian Rally, 20 October

Luke Francis held his nerve through the darkness on the Great Orme, the final stage of the Cambrian Rally, to take his first victory.

Francis and Tom Naughton were separated by just one second as they entered the legendary stage, with Francis emerging ahead and being welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd at the final time control on Llandudno promenade.

By finishing second Naughton claimed the production class title, while his navigator Horace Saville took the co-drivers crown. Meanwhile 2012 champion Matt Edwards was keen to cap his season in style but retired after a hard landing on SS4.
