Round 7: Croft, 27 October

Julian Godfrey won his second consecutive title with his third win of the year in the season finale at Croft.

Former champion Pat Doran was the only driver who could deny Godfrey the title. "I knew that I had to stop Pat getting the bonus points for fastest times; without those he wasn't going to beat me," said Godfrey.

In the end Godfrey led the A final from start to finish, fending off the constant challenge of home favourite Kevin Procter, while Doran finished sixth after a last-lap clash with Andy Scott.
