EDINBURGH have taken great encouragement from a meeting with supporters in Mid Calder this week.Monarchs directors are hoping to refinance the club to clear all debts and have a financial cushion going into 2013, should they run, and supporters willing pledge money were given information as to future plans.Chairman Alex Harkess said: Weve been overwhelmed with the support. It is our responsibility to come to a sensible decision on the clubs future and we will be working hard to do that.

RYE House youngster Ben Morley suffered a painful end to the season when he crashed out at Mildenhall on Wednesday.Morley was making a guest appearance for Stoke but came to grief in Heat 1, with his bike landing on his left ankle causing a fracture.The Raiders regular was set to undergo an operation in Southend but his injury looks set to prevent him engaging in off-season employment for the next two months.
