PETERBOROUGH have confirmed Swedish star Linus Sundstrom will remain with the club for the 2013 Elite League season.Sundstrom enjoyed a strong second year in Panthers colours, adding almost a point to his average as he finished on 7.87 although he suffered a season-ending injury at Belle Vue in mid-September.Panthers boss Jan Staechmann said: Myself and the rest of the management have been highly delighted with Linuss performances this season and were very pleased to make the announcement that he has signed for next year.I think if hes able to achieve next year what he has done this year he will have done really well.(SPEEDWAY 2)

SHEFFIELD have been given permission to speak to two riders with Elite League experience as they look to rebuild following a disappointing 2012 season.The Tigers have already announced the return of Joe Haines for next year but are keen to strengthen in the heat-leader department.Co-promoter David Hoggart said: Our target has to be eight-point riders at least and we are beginning talks with two prospective riders.The one thing to come out of 2012 is that we need a clear leader at the front end, and thats where we are looking right now.
