The actual meeting will get underway at 7pm, but we are looking to make it more of an event than just the meeting itself, with things such as a collectors fayre and other attractions, so that fans can arrive early and make more of an afternoon and evening of it.Co-promoter Garry May said: We have already had many riders including some from the Elite League verbally agree to ride in the meeting, and we might even have a rider competing who, to the best of my knowledge, has never ridden speedway in the UK before.The Rebels Christmas Cracker meeting will be a full-scale meeting involving 16 riders and has already attracted sponsorship from club partners Salt Express.SOMERSET have announced plans to stage an out-of-season individual event at the Oaktree Arena on Friday December 28.

It was a shame we couldn't quite do it against Swindon, but looking back it was a pretty good year and I am quite pleased with it.  I think looking back the way we worked as a team towards the end is a positive. If the club can do that straight away in 2013 then I think they can do well.Smolinski said: Its been quite a good year for Birmingham.
