RYE House have moved for Olly Allen as their new No.1 for the 2013 Premier League season. The Rockets have become the second club to name their full proposed line-up which also includes a return for young Australian Tyson Nelson after visa issues this year. Anders Mellgren, Jason Bunyan, Jason Garrity, Kasper Lykke and Simon Lambert are all retained. Rye promoter Len Silver said: “We believe this to be the youngest team ever to take to the track for Rye House. I am very excited by this line-up as it contains all the ingredients to provide enthusiastic racing, yet has a balance of experience and steadiness to keep the ship on an even keel. “Both (manager) John Sampford and myself ignored actual points averages and have put together the seven riders best able to bring potential success for the club.”

BERWICK’S French teenager David Bellego has been confirmed as an asset of the club following last weekend’s AGM. Bellego enjoyed a successful first season with the Bandits in 2012 and could be set for a return next year, with the club having declared their intent to run again in the Premier League – although they have stressed proper funding will be required. Director George Hepburn said: “We have said all along that we need to put in place a new team sponsor for 2013 and other financial measures, to ensure we run and we are looking at various avenues just now. “We would like to come out here now and say, yes we are running in 2013, but we still have a lot of hard work to do. However, we ask fans please to be patient and we will announce any further news as soon as we can, maybe even at a fans forum if we can get this in place.”
